About the Virtual Museum

The Shraman Foundation is developing a dynamic web resource featuring a variety of images, media, interactive maps and timelines, games, virtual tours of monuments and sites, and written entries on related topics. It will provide access to a wealth of information that has been documented and archived with the help of scholars of South Asia. Geared toward users of all levels, the web resource will cover history from the earliest recorded period to the present day, geography and landscape, languages, regional cultures, people, events, ideas, art and architecture, and religious traditions.  It is being designed to enable users to find relevant information quickly or delve deeply into the available information in exciting and engaging ways.
