Purpose of the scholarship

This scholarship aims to incentivize students to encourage brilliant students in mathematics who have an aptitude to continue the study of mathematics and choose careers in mathematics. The Shraman Mathematics Scholarship strives to find highly talented individuals in mathematics. This scholarship is inspired by mathematicians in India and across the world who have contributed to the field of mathematics and innovations across the world.

Scholarship awards:

• Rs. 10,000 per year for upto 4 years for school students

• Rs. 20,000 per year for upto 4 years for Undergraduate students

Eligibility

Current or prospective students enrolled into school and collage in India. Please contact info@shraman.org for more information.

• School Students: Age should be 13 to 18 years

• Undergraduate Students: Age should be 22 years and below 22 years

• Achieved excellence in mathematics by one of the following

• Participated in regional, national or international mathematics competitions and achieved high ranks

• Transcripts (unofficial can also submit)

• Personal Statement

• Proposed Plan if Awarded a Fellowship

• And anything else requested in the program description.

• Incentives will be awarded once a year.
